Paul Lirette, age 70, of Gautreau Village passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Wednesday, February 20, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Fox Creek, NB, he was the son of the late Harry Lirette and the late Regina LeBlanc.
He will be sadly missed by his only daughter Annette (Jean) Landry of La Montain; his two grandchildren, Mélanie and Justin; one sister Florine (Robert) Auffrey of Dieppe; five brothers, Hervé (Florence) Lirette of Dover, Clorice (Laurianne) Lirette of St Joseph, Omer (Imelda) Lirette of Moncton, Armand (Rhéaldine) Lirette of Dieppe and Léo (Bernice) Lirette of Dover, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Angela (Gautreau) Lirette in 1992; two sisters, Bella Caissie and Vivinne LeBlanc; and two brothers, Yvon and Blair Lirette.
Remains resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with Funeral service to be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut on Friday, February 22 at 7:00 p.m. Interment in parish cemetery.
